The Florida State Seminoles football program has claimed two national titles (1993 and 1999), 15 conference titles, three division titles, posted an all-time winning record of 473-235-17, posted a postseason record of 25-14-2 and housed two Heisman trophy winners. Between the years of 1987 and 2000, the Seminoles had a record of 152-19-1 with 14 consecutive seasons winning 10 or more games with 11 Bowl wins. The 1993 season was headed up by coach Bobby Bowden and Florida State posted a 13-1 record, losing only to Notre Dame. The Seminoles would prove too much for the Hokies and defeat them 46-29 for their second national title and bring back an NCAA championship ring. Florida State wide receiver Peter Warrick received the game’s Most Valuable Player award.
